Miles Printing has been named an inaugural HBA Indiana Purple Sock Award Winner in recognition of Miles leadership in healthcare, life sciences in Indiana.
Erin Albert, President of Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Indiana comments, "We want to celebrate those who are incredible in healthcare and life sciences who are the true unsung heroines and heroes in Indiana, as we are an organization that supports leadership in healthcare."
Erin also recognizes Nick Adkins, of Portland, Oregon, who created a contagious symbol for disruption of healthcare in the form of handing out pink knee socks. Erin was inspired by the idea and transferred this badge of honor craze to the purple socks awards, which will be awarded at the 2017 HBA Indiana annual awards banquet in November.
The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) is made up of 8,000 members internationally. The Indiana chapter is comprised of more than 200 members.
